Pricing & Payment
How much does tax preparation cost?+
W-2 individual returns are $75. Self-employed/1099 returns are $175. Small business returns are $275. Prior year returns are $125 per year. ITIN assistance is $100. All pricing is flat-rate — no hidden fees, no surprise charges at the end.
What payment methods do you accept?+
We accept all major credit and debit cards, Zelle, CashApp, and Apple Pay. Payment is collected before we begin preparing your return.
Can I have my preparation fee deducted from my refund?+
Yes — refund transfer options are available for an additional processing fee. Ask about this during your consultation.
Do you charge more if I have multiple W-2s or 1099s?+
No. Multiple W-2s are included in the $75 flat rate. Multiple 1099s are included in the $175 self-employed rate. The service type determines the price, not the number of forms.

The Process
How does the process work?+
Step 1: Book a free 15-minute consultation. Step 2: Upload your documents securely through our client portal. Step 3: We prepare your return within 24-48 hours. Step 4: You review the return. Step 5: We e-file once you approve. That's it.
How long does it take to get my taxes done?+
Most individual returns (W-2 and 1099) are completed within 24-48 hours of receiving all required documents. Small business returns typically take 3-5 business days. During peak season (January–April), add 1-2 days for high-volume periods.
What documents do I need to provide?+
For W-2 filers: your W-2, last year's return (if available), Social Security card, and bank account info for direct deposit. For self-employed: add all 1099s, income records, business expense receipts, and mileage logs. We'll give you a specific checklist during your consultation.
Can I start before I have all my documents?+
Yes — book your consultation now and we'll walk you through exactly what you need. Many W-2 employers don't send forms until late January, so it's fine to start early.
💻
Virtual & Remote Filing
Can I have my taxes done completely online?+
Yes. 100% of the process can be done virtually. You upload documents through our secure portal, we communicate by email or phone, and you sign and receive your return digitally. Clients from all 50 states are welcome.
How do I submit documents securely?+
After booking, you'll receive a link to our secure client portal where you can upload documents directly. Never send tax documents by regular email or text.
Is in-person available?+
Yes. In-person appointments are available in the Dallas, TX area. Location details are provided after booking confirmation.

Self-Employed & Business
I'm self-employed and never filed before. Can you help?+
Absolutely. We specialize in first-time self-employed filers. We'll explain self-employment tax, what you owe, what you can deduct, and how to set aside money going forward so you're not surprised next year.
What business expenses can I deduct?+
Common deductions include: home office, mileage/vehicle costs, equipment and tools, phone and internet (business portion), software subscriptions, business meals (50%), professional development, marketing costs, and health insurance premiums. Every situation is different — we'll review yours specifically.
I have both a W-2 job and a side business. Which service do I need?+
You'll need the self-employed return ($175), which covers both your W-2 income and your Schedule C business income in one return.
Do I need to file quarterly estimated taxes?+
If you're self-employed and expect to owe more than $1,000 in federal taxes, yes — quarterly payments are recommended to avoid underpayment penalties. We'll walk you through how to calculate and set these up.

Prior Year & Back Taxes
What if I haven't filed taxes in several years?+
No judgment here. We file prior-year returns every day. The IRS typically requires you to file the last 6 years to be considered compliant. We'll help you understand what years you need, what you might owe, and options to resolve any balance due.
Can I still get a refund for prior years?+
Yes, but there's a 3-year window. Refunds from 2022 returns expire April 15, 2026. After that deadline, the IRS keeps your money. File now to claim what's yours.
Will I get in trouble for filing late?+
If you owe taxes, failure-to-file penalties accumulate monthly. The sooner you file, the sooner penalties stop growing. If you're owed a refund, there's no penalty for filing late — but you lose the refund after 3 years. We'll help you navigate this.

ITIN & Non-US Citizens
I don't have a Social Security Number. Can I still file taxes?+
Yes. If you earn income in the United States, you may be required to file taxes regardless of immigration status. An ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) allows you to file without an SSN. We help you apply for an ITIN and file your return at the same time.
How long does it take to get an ITIN?+
The IRS typically processes ITIN applications in 7-11 weeks when filed with a tax return. We submit your application and return together to speed up the process.
Do you serve clients who speak Spanish?+
Yes. We can accommodate Spanish-speaking clients — just let us know when you book.
