My Story
I started Taxes by Kashmiere because I saw too many people — especially working-class people, self-employed people, and small business owners — leaving money on the table every single tax season. Either they were using software that missed deductions, or paying high-priced accountants for simple returns, or just avoiding taxes out of fear.
That wasn't okay to me. I've been on the hustle side — running my own business, figuring out 1099s, navigating self-employment taxes, learning what you can and can't write off. I built this service to give people what I wish I had: a real person who explains everything, charges a fair price, and actually maximizes your refund.
I'm not just a tax preparer. I'm a Dallas-based entrepreneur, mom, financial educator, and someone who genuinely cares about what happens to your money after I file your return. The goal is always the same: real talk, real returns, done right.
